    The Family and Respect Life Office coordinates the Archdiocese's outreach to divorced and separated. The Separated and Divorced web page contains information on Retrouvaille, The Third Option, and Beginning Experience. The Separated and Divorced web page also used to link to a page with Support Group Information.  That link is no longer present but the Support Group Information page is still available, though its information may be outdated -- please verify.
     
    Cincinnati — New Visions
The New Visions mission is helping those experiencing separation, divorce, or death of a spouse to heal and help cope with the stress of their loss.  It gives members an outlet for understanding their emotions and finding ways to grow and eventually restructure their lives which will eventually lead them to a wonderful new place.  Stop in on Monday?s at 7:00 P.M. at The Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45249 and see if New Visions is right for you.  There are currently 50 active members who have become like family.  There are no fees to belong and you do not have to be Catholic.  For more information please This email address is being protected from spambots.     Covington, KY — New Beginnings
In response to persons suffering the loss of a spouse due to divorce or separation, the Diocese of Covington offers the support of a faith-based community through New Beginnings, a ministry for separated, divorced, or widowed men and women.     The Diocese's Ministry to the Separated and Divorced web page lists a wealth of support services, including workshops and retreats, 8-10 week divorce recovery groups, ongoing support groups, and an excellent newsletter. Visit the web page for details.
     
    Cleveland—Catholic Parishes of the Suburban West District and Catholic Charitieseach sponsor a number of eight- to ten-week Divorce Recovery Groups which meet at a variety of locations in the greater Cleveland area.  The groups are designed to give direction and support to Catholics recently separated or divorced.  All participants must pre-register for these sessions.  Brochures and registration forms are available.  Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.     CARES—Catholic Recovery for the Separated and Divorced. The Catholic Parishes of Lake and Geauga Counties have joined together to provide help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. It is their mission to make the presence of the Catholic Church a part of your journey toward recovery; to promote emotional and sacramental healing; foster support, independence, and empowerment.

    Separated & Divorced Catholics of Columbus & Central Ohio is a pastoral community formed specifically to help reach out to those Catholics who don't want to see their faith go the way of their marriage.  It's purpose is to provide love, support, guidance, and healing--by other Catholics who have experienced it themselves and have faced similar challenges.  Visit the website for information about their programs and gatherings.

    The Family Life Office provides the following programs: Cana II, divorced/separated ministry, family spirituality, leadership in family ministry training, marriage enrichment/marriage preparation, natural family planning. Please contact the office for more information.
     
     

    Canton—New Life Ministries of Ohio.   New Life Ministry's sessions deal with the cycle of grief and emotions experienced in the divorce and separation process. They also deal with the spirituality of God's never ending love, His strength and the power of prayer. New Life Ministry is sponsored by St. Barbara's Parish of Massillon and hosted by St. Michael's Parish of Canton, Ohio. You must be pre-registered.
